help me figure out what this is

ok this might be a stupid question. i have a 95 z26 and there is something on this car that i havent ever seen on any other beretta. it is located on the back of the car between the taillights. it is the piece above the bumper but below the part that is attached to the trunk. it looks like there should be some sort of light behind it or something. it looks just like the taillights. but ive never seen it before. please help if you can it has been bothering me.

Um, sounds like you have a older pre 1994 lower filler pannel in there. They are not illuminated.

you are correct. now that i know this im a little angry. now i have to figure out why this is there. and it just looks stupid.

Someone probably broke the original one... Was the car ever rear ended? Just find a solid black one in a yard somewhere.
