92 Quasar GTZ Quad - Rust Free

Post by dhenderz »

Putting this out as a feeler to see if anyone might be interested in buying my 1992 Quasar GTZ Quad. This car is from CA and 100% rust free. It still has the original brake lines that are shiny like the day they were installed. The car has about 145k on it. Just installed a brand new 086 head, brake pads/shoes, rotors/drums & OE brake hoses. Runs great. Interior & exterior is in tough shape, but everything is intact. This would make a perfect resto project for someone. Put a new paint job on it, restore the interior & you will have an incredible GTZ.

The front fascia has been reassembled from the pic below and the grille has been reinstalled. Also, the car has Eibach springs front and back (as you can see in the rear suspension pic)

$1000 and its yours.

I am located in SE MI.

Its a Quad, so its a getrag 5 speed. I'll snap a pic or 2 of the interior and post.

And I'm in Ann Arbor.

Interior pics as requested/promised. Also snapped one of the Quad.

Interior needs a new instrument panel due to CA sun. The front edge along the w/s defroster grille has lifted up. Same in the 'map pocket' area above the glovebox. I have a good I/P that I will throw in the deal. It also needs a carpet. Other than that the interior is fine. I already replaced the console center arm rest cover with one that's solid.

Needs tires, bad. The previous owner tried to strip the wheels and ruined them. But GTZ wheels aren't that hard to find. There's a guy near me selling a really solid set for $60.

Oh, and it has a brand new battery!!

Now, who's really interested in having a awesome, solid, totally rust free Quad GTZ for $1000? That's a steal no 2 ways about it!!

OK, had to post up 2 more pics just to further prove how solid this car is. You all know 2 of the fastest rusting spots on the Beretta (besides the rockers which I already posted).

The cross car frame rail between the 2 rear coil spring pockets. And, the pass side steering rack attachment area. Take a look at these and tell me they don't look like the day they left the Wilmington Asm plant!!

Forgot to mention. The spoiler is cracked in a couple places (CA sun again). But I have a solid spoiler I will throw in. Also got a new center console I will throw in. Doesn't really need it, but I noticed that the rear lower mounting area was cracked so I grabbed one when I was in the JY. I never installed it because the existing one feels solid.

Man, this deal just keeps getting better and better. :D

my guess as to why he would kill himself is its already a 2.3 with a 5 speed those motors are FAST and would walk all over a 3.1 idk about a 3.4

Stock for stock, a Quad isn't that much faster than a 3.1 both with 5-speeds.
