I saw a photo somewhere and it was red. Shocked when I saw the black one.

Wasn't there a 3rd concept that was red? I think it was RWD.

It's not black... not too far off, but much better than black.

I remember seeing picture of red Beretta test mule that had dual exhaust and wider stance.

That was a V8 awd that never got sold I think.

Its in my state... if it doesn't sell maybe I'll go check it out.

SGR, I think that the VIN plate he mentioned on the door is the one pictured in the listing. It is the "X" labeled non-titleable VIN.

Ahhh... Well, IF the car has a full 17 digit VIN anywhere on it, it can be titled fairly easily. You could STILL title it in some states as a "rebuilt" or "built" car and they will issue a new VIN to the vehicle after it passes a inspection or series of inspections. Well worth it in this car's case.

Bah, here it could get an assigned VIN and be a "Street Rod" or something of the like.

That could be legalized in pa. There's lots of loopholes.

Or just do a little windshield and little tag under windshield swap with another beretta.....

I'm quite sure this guy; if it is a shop is probably driving the thing around right now with dealer plates... Hence the statement that it "goes like hell"

The other thing that would worry me about this setup is, WE already have enough troubles finding parts for our cars... Never mind when something breaks on this... Does anyone even know what the AWD setup is from? Fully custom or pulled from another platform? Say something lets go, what the hell do you ask for at an autoparts store? This almost qualifies in my book as something that would get driven to car shows ONLY, if even that... Face it, it's one of a kind and daily driving it would destroy it.

I would like to take a ride over with my 96 and check it out. But seeing thats on jackstands right now that will have to wait.

^^ x2 on that. Don't forget this thing was built to test the limits of a platform. That one-of-a-kind bragging right may very well have a one-of-a-kind price tag to go along with repairs to it.

That said I think all the components are somewhat attainable. I think the AWD parts are- if not identical- highly similar to Pontiac 6000 AWD components. I've never seen an AWD setup 6000 though, so I do not know. The transmission should be a Getrag, and the engine, underneath all the turbos and pipes and wires and stuff, is probably a bored out 3.1. Basic stuff, just tweaked the hell out IMO.

The dealership's address is:
Ross Motorcars
174 East Main Street
Torrington, CT , 06790
Phone: (866) 980-0191
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
