Rear trunk spoiler GTZ

Post by NJ93TY »

Looking for a trunk spoiler for my GTZ. Don't care about color, don't need third brake light. Must be in good shape, no cracks or damage and studs must be good. Will travel if close to jersey. TIA

I have an aftermarket one that does not have a provision for the third brake light. It fastens opposite of the factory - uses screws instead of studs. I can post a pic of it tomorrow if you're interested.

I think an OEM correct spoiler without that damn brake light would be a BONUS!

Replacing them can be very expensive!!

That said, if you have a virgin non-spoiler trunk lid, I would go with no spoiler.

I wish I had deleted mine when I had my GTZ painted.

Just have a boo at Geoff's car (Heavywoody)

Z04 without the trunk spoiler is a great look. IMHO!

Not a big fan of the wingless trunk lid but to each their own. I think I may have found an oem one.

I did it before it was cool. I have a picture somewhere.... :D. However, I sold that wonderful spoiler-less trunk lid and never heard from the guy again.

My spoiler ended up cracking in half a couple of years ago. Still rocking it with band-aid decals... The one without the third brake light sounds interesting, however I deleted my base CHMSL so I need mine.

I gave my perfect non-spoiler trunk to B-Man (Marc) and regret it to this day.

NO BAD ON MARC!! Lol!

But I do like the non-spoiler look a lot better.

Blah. I'm usually the one all for non-stock appearance, but the Z04 cars need a spoiler and they need the solid grille IMO. Just doesn't tie everything together as nicely without it.

I was able to find one used with all good studs. Should have it on Monday.
