Front License Bracket

Post by Asylum »

I'm thinking about finally Canadianizing my GTZ so I'm going to need a front license plate bracket.
I forget whether they are plastic or metal??
In any event it has to be in excellent condition and not broken or bent.
Let me know if you have or can source one.
Thanx

Everyone I've had has been plastic. I'll see if I have anything lying around.

They're all plastic. The Z04 and base ones are different but they fit the same.

Z04 has a Chevy emblem on it, I know because I put that on the Indy since the holes were already there.

Exactly, but they all function and attach the same.

So I still need one, LOL!
I have driven around for 8 years without a front plate, which is really just "Bullshit Baffles Brains" because no one here knows any better.
Got stopped once and the officer told me it was illegal to drive a USA Plated vehicle with a Canadian License.
My simple response was "So is U-Haul suddenly out of business?"
(Every U-Haul truck in Canada has a Permanent Arizona Plate.)
"Thank you Sir! Have a nice day."
LOL!
But it is time to make it legal(er).

You can do what I did, the lower holes are still in my bumper, the front facing holes are not, I used 3M tape on the back of the bracket to adhere it to the bumper rather than making holes there again, and just put screws in the lower holes. I did this when I was having troubles with front plate BS, but now I've removed it and no one has stopped me since. The Indy has the Z plate bracket there to simply cover the holes... I don't have the plate in it... lol

I have an offer for you... Just sell me the car and I'll make sure to put a front plate bracket on it the removable way and it will be CT legal. ;)

You are probably a year early. If Carlisle had of won, that would probably have done it.

Not to save my sorry fat ass!

Did you read the reviews?

And you want me to put that on one of the purest Quads on the planet?

I just would like a stock, very good plate bracket.

(And don't worry Jon, the California Title is still here!) :Yahoo!:
