In the dash, underneath the little covers (just pry them off) there are 4" speakers. Depending on what kind you get, you can either get 4" or 3 1/2" speakers in there. It all depends on how the speakers are set up to be intstalled. There are only two screws that hold them in, at the 45 and 225 degree settings (135 and 315 degree on the left), you shouldn't have any trouble finding speakers the fit in perfectly with those screw holes. Or, you could do what I did when I upgraded them. I bought a pair of 4" Alpines, which had 4 screw holes in a metal plate circling the speaker. Take a set of tin snips and just cut off the metal that interferes, and the speakers will fit fine.

And, as an afterthought, they are full range speakers, despite their limited range; not just tweeters.
