There is a serial cable that provides the tach, coolant temperature, and one other indicator on the digital gauge with information from the older ECM's. That isn't a feature that is on the newer ECM's. The only way it could be done is if you piggyback the older ECM into the current setup to provide those few inputs for the serial cable. But you would have to have the complete harness from the original digital dash car (or one from the yard).

I have tryed hooking my digital cluster up in my 88, i have a few diagrams written out with what pin goes to where, i didnt even have the wire harness or even the plugs with some wire like you, i tore apart a computer power supply and cut the power connectors into single wires and used them to plug onto the pins... what a nightmare lol.

I couldnt get the digital part to work, even hooked to my data port, im thinking maybe my ecm didnt support that or something i dont know. i gave up on it. if you want i can type up the diagrams i have at least you will know where all the wires are supposed to go.

would be nice to have the wire harness LOL... i got my digital dash out of a parts car i bought when i first got my 88 beretta.
I took a few parts from the car, the body was shot rotted right out bad, i saved the seats and a few things, never thought of the wire harness for the dash before i took it over the scales. if i knew then that it was a hard part to find i would have been smarter and took the darn harness lol.
