Sorry it took so long to get back to this, but I wanted to double check with the track to make sure my rules weren't outdated. They do NOT require a jacket for nitrous, and there's really no other special rules specifically for nitrous use. A jacket and full suit is required if your ET will be 11.49 or under, or trapping over 135 mph. But if anyone is at that level, there's a whole other set of rules, as that's basically the line between a fast street car and a slow race car.

The GLD tech actually said the same thing to me... "What's the jacket going to help without a full suit?" :wacko:

Thank you for checking. Is the helmet rule still a snell 95 or newer? I have a Snell M2000 helmet and that's always been good before, but last year a LVD they also said last year was the last year for that helmet... Others say its good till 2012. LVD screwed up their rules last year.
