You'd probably be surprised.  Since the whole drive train is up front I'd say they got it close to the center.

I can really care less about my car. Every time I turn around the brakes are shot. In 80,000 miles I've...

Replaced rotors under warranty at 10,501 miles.

Rotors turned, covered under warranty at  20,118 miles.

Replaced rotors and pads at 33,547 miles.

Replaced rotors at 54,149 miles.

Replaced rotors & pads at 72,212 miles.

And guess what at 81,045 miles...the rotors are pulsating again! I'm sure the rotors were turned 1 or 2 more times since I've had it...but I just don't have it written down and don't feel like looking at all my papers.

Granted of course I’m not the nicest person in the world to a car, but this last time I made sure to go easy on them and they still warped. I give up! I’m thinking I'll stick with GM for my next car, but definitely not a Cavalier! ÂÂÂ

What kind of brakes do you buy?  Are the rear brakes adjusted properly?  My drums weren't adjusted correctly and I was going through rotors just like you.

I've bought different kinds of brakes, expensive and cheap ones...it dosent make a difference. The only ones I havent bought are Brembos...but Im not wasting my money because I bet they'll still warp. I've had the rear brakes cleaned and adjusted a couple times, including this most recent brake replacement.

My car is just a piece of ****, the paint is starting to chip off the spoiler now...

Time to come back to the Beretta Owners club, where all those problems & more can be expected!

No thanks. I'll never be able to find a Beretta worth buying again, I've come to terms with that. I really want one of those 2 door Pontiac G6 GT's...but that wont happen anytime soon.

i don't think there is any beretta's left worth buying anyway.

I've looked @ those G6 coupes... thre's something i just don't like about them . I dunno if it's the side profile or what, but I'm not a big fan of the coupe yet.

Its weird you say that, because I sorta thought that about the 4 doors when I first seen them. It seemed liked from the left side the car looked nice, but from the right side it didnt. That probably dosent make any sense to anyone else, but I cant really explain it anymore than that!

Oh yeah....I'm too lazy to look for it but atleast I'm honest about it. Does anyone know how long the paint is warranted (that dosent look like its spelt right, but it is!) for? It has to be longer than the factory warranty...hmmmm.

I'm thinking the 'Hey!' thread is prolly gonna die soon.
