Looking to purchase a GT or GTZ

Post by CanuckGTZ »

I am looking to purchase a GT or GTZ that is in good to excellent condition. I previously owned both (almost 20 years ago) and have recently felt a desire to own one again. I am not a mechanic so the Beretta needs to be in pretty good shape and will pay accordingly. If anyone has one for sale or knows of one for sale in Ontario or Quebec please let me know. I sure did love both of those cars.

Good luck, I am pretty sure I know everyone who has a beretta left in Ontario, I can't even recall last time I saw one come up for sale, but will keep my eyes peeled for ya, you may be better off importing like James Bradley did, who got a nice z26 from baltimore for a good price and will do a motor swap on it.

Here are a couple, overpriced a bit but the gt is fairly low mileage at 105000 kms. I would make sure to ask for pics of the rockers and firewall and anywhere else u may be concerned about. The gtz is high mileage and I think he is asking so much because of the paint.

Those are both pretty good candidates (as long as they are as advertised) if you are looking for something ready to go.

Beat them up on the price abit perhaps but neither is totally outrageous.

Any car that will pass a legal Safety and e-test is worth $3000 or so.

Where are you?

'92 3500 GT gone and not really missed. It was fun. Documented 13.47 N/A.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I will have to do my homework before I purchase. If other Berettas become available please let me know.

Cheers

I am located near Cornwall Ontario which is 30 minutes from the Quebec border and 1 hour south of Ottawa. In 1989 I purchased my first new car (a blue GT with a 5 speed). The was amazing to drive at that time and bullet proof. I traded it in in 1992 for a 1990 GTZ. I should have kept the GT since the Quad 4 seized in my GTZ with about 60000 km on it.

Cheers
