Both sides where the wiring harness goes in can/will leak. Double check that cowl, mine was void of seam sealer near the fresh air intake door(for max AC). There is also a drain at the bottom of that area. Lots of water will travel there, so that is a major area. Be sure not to seal the rubber flap for that drain shut. There is also a drain(with flap again) on the drivers side near the wiper arm motor. That old seam sealer tends to crack near that area do to heat and sunlight.
Damn, forgot to tell you to make some marks near the wiper blades. It can be a real pain to get the arms in the right place. Check where the wiper arms attach to the "drives". Those lines inside need to be cleaned out if they are packed full. If not the arm will come loose(even with the nut on).
The balancer/crank pulley doesn't have a seal, the seal is in the pan/block. What brand did you buy?
Well you may need to change the trans fluid anyway so just get the gasket.

Thats the crank pulley i bought

About the wipers dont worry i didnt remove them, i just set them vertically and pulled up the cowl covers(thats why i removed the hood lol)

Image

What do you mean there isnt a seal on my crank pulley? Cause thats the place i get most of the engine oil leaks ... Look

Thanks for your help, btw do you know why my tensioner is different are they different for every model?(my new one wont align with the belt and other pulleys)

I'd return the tensioner if it's not lining up and get a new one. Some are different yes but don't go off just the pulley appearance.... a lot of the new ones are composite pulley's instead of the steel version.

Regarding the pulley seal its just a crankshaft seal, Timken PN 9845

should look something like this when the pulley is out.

Remember though those leaks could also be the oil pan, but they do look like they are dripping down the cover which would point to the crank seal.

Thanks 3x00 unfortunately it is cheaper for me to get a new tensioner than returning this one so ill have to "fix" the old one while the new one comes in.

I am going to change the oil pan(both tranny and engine) gaskets so i know the only thing left is to get that seal to make sure i have no leaks on that side.

How did you get the cowl cover off without taking the wiper arms off?

Odd, swear that my 90GT and my 95's cowl cover were the same. In other words you have to take the arms off to get the covers off. So you took the blades off? Sounds like I've been wasting time pulling the arms.

When i put it back in ill post some pics

UPDATE:
Managed to put the new tensioner after all, my friend wasnt aligning the guide pin with the hole so the tensioner was unaligned. i going to try and find the crankshaft seal at local parts stores maybe i have luck with that here lol.

ill be updating the Original post later today with new progress and stuff to keep my thread organized :D

UPDATE 2:
Hey 3X00 i managed to get the crankshaft seal after all its a "national 9845" seal, although i see in your pic that it has some sort of filling in between the rubberized and the metal parts, so i don't know if it will work correctly..

If it's a part listed as compatible with your vehicle then I don't see why it wouldn't work correctly...

So the beast is out, and came out pretty easily considering its the first time i take an engine out lol

Heres some pics

What ill be doing:
Replacing most or all gaskets
Installing new tcc solenoid
General cleaning degreasing and painting of the engine
Fixing noises clicking which i suppose its from the lifters
Cleaning sealing and painting the engine bay
Redoing the wire loom on the electrical harness
Fixing the ac and removing all heater related hoses.

Any suggestions of what else can i do while im here lol?

Well yeah! Im going all in for this project and learning a lot along the way! As I'm cleaning I'm finding many leaks on most gaskets! So they're going to be new, as well as the cv axle shafts
