I swear that RA did not list an ACDelco unit for a 1993 a week ago when I looked... that's why I asked. ;)

On the same topic, does the ACDelco bearing come with the seal as well?

It shouldn't come with a seal for the ACDelco. The last one I installed was an updated design which has a tech note to remove the seal and o-ring.

Very good to know - I've seen some of the newer ACDelco listings and all show now o-ring or seal. Interesting.

Got my rear disc setup in the mail this evening. Hoping to install it sometime in the next few days. Can't wait to ditch the drums!

Yup, drums suck!

Interested to see an updated bearing from Acdelco too...

Which setup for the rear disk did you switch to?

The Neon rear disc setup. I've got a Z34 master cylinder just in case things don't feel right after the swap. With the Wilwoods in the front this should be a pretty sweet combo.

Even if it does "feel" right after the swap, you won't have dick for rear brake pressure. The rear disc master is really mandatory for proper function... It doubles the output psi out back.

I guess I'm a bit hesitant because I don't want anything to affect my awesome front brake feel.

It doesn't change pressure to the front. Only changes pressure to the rear. Mine measured 1400 front 500 rear stock, and 1400/950 after the swap

Well then - I guess I'll have to swap to the Z34 master... that is if I get these pos rusted oem fittings apart...

I have my wilwood front brakes and rear disk swap on for 2+ years now and I agree with woody that you should do the master swap. At 50+ mph if I stomped on the brakes it would nose dive and slide due to hardly any back braking, without the master swap a rear disk swap really does not help much IMO.. I also had no abs which does not help either haha

ABS and F-body FTW... hehehe... and I'll stick with the F-body until I know there is a better L-body specific bearing... then MAYBE I'll invest in Wilwood but I just can't justify that cost right now.

John, you need something like this -- http://wilwood.com/BrakeKits/BrakeKitsP ... Brake+Rear

I *think* the hat may already be drilled for the 5x115 as well as 5x120. Then you can keep your precious N-body bearings. ;)

I'm just not sure about the rotor-to-disc fitment as you would be using a much larger rotor - I'm not sure if the N-body spindle holds the caliper abutment bracket at the same height as the F-body spindle. That'd be the only factor I can think of.
