I picked up the rest of the GTU kit I had been trying to snag for a few months now.

Since I am not in a huge rush to get them on and painted I just did a test fit.  The yellow rear peices required some acetone and some elbow grease.   They cleaned up so well I almost feel guilty painting Indy parts.

The sides are teal, I am waiting for one of them to be shipped since it was mistaken left at home...whoops.  I dont have all the hardware, so I need to track down whatever I am missing.

For now these are the pics of the rear skirts.

Just one 12W6.  I have had it that way since I was 17 hehe.   There is a neon over it and it looked cool to light up the amps and the sub as it hit.

That does kind of look good with it yellow.  What was the acetone for?  What does it accomplish?

Acetone is a strong chemical used by me for prep work.  It can remove parking lot scrapes where other cars paint gets on your car.   It is rather strong.  Its good at removing light surface rust too, or prepping something you are going to paint.

It's also good for sniffing.

Yes, I recommend no ventilation what so ever.  Brain cells are highly over rated

Is that just with a rag, steel wool, or sand paper?  Forgive me for asking but i'm new to body-work.

Its not just for body work.  Its for anything that is really nasty where many chemicals just arent doing the trick.  I often used it on my intake plenum and valve covers before polishing or paint.   I just use terry cloth towels, I buy them in bulk from Costco.

Show us the sides! ÂÂÂ

(I regret I couldn't get all the mounting hardware for you, I literally stripped a screw bit and cut up both my hands trying.  You should have enough to get atleast 1 on and probably a couple extra for the other.)
