Hello and welcome! From the looks of it our Berettas could almost be twins. I too have a '93 GT (I need to update my signature photo)

Indeed they could be. And thankyou for the welcome...once I find my old phone I'll throw pics up from the day I bought it to know ..decent chunk of work done...and she's fairly rust free considering I'm deep in the snowbelt..basically I've got some dents to pop out and then she just needs a decent paint job ..but all things considered she's held up well...once I get some pics up you'll see

Sounds great! Mine has a long way to go to live up to the standards my last one had set.

cheap easy fix. make sure your batt is good too. winter really taxes the battery.

So I tested it the lazy way ...started it up and disconnected both battery posts..and it continued to run without a stutter ...but the voltage gauge sits high and bounces around once warmed up...so I figure it's the voltage reg on the alt and will probly swap the new one from the 2.8 on when I next get a day off.. Just to be sure...minus 30s are on there way and I don't need any trouble then lol
