There is only a rust free beretta in one, and a fiberglass trailer in the other. Anxiety starts in 3 weeks when the other two cars come out of storage.

...Since we are rubbing it in, I pulled the stock exhaust out of the '95 Z the other week in preparation for the new 3" pipes, and not even the bolts on the Cat-flange were rusted in! No torch, no PB Blaster, no ZEP-44, no broken bolts, just out they came... :pardon:
Your car is looking great on the outside, obviously it is going to be as clean underneath when you are done. That is one lucky Beretta, glad to see the meticulous attention and quality you have going into her. :good: BTW, I love those fender-stripes too, a few of my cars are going to get a similar treatment.

I'm trying to keep it clean everywhere at least! Haha.

Speaking of which, I was under it again yesterday and found that the section of the underbody between the spring perches, the section all the fuel and brake lines run along, is rotting from the inside out. I'll just scrape it down the best I can, paint it, and spray something inside of it. I do still have enough Rust Encapsulator left for the rear underbody. The fuel lines also look pretty rotted, but not leaking yet. Yet.

So it looks like it'll now be axle swap, disc swap, spring perch repair, and patching the fuel and brake lines in the rear.

It doesn't since you bought it... I'm sure it had in it's past otherwise it probably wouldn't be this bad.

Fuggin Ohio...
Man it made me sick to see that photo, I've been following your thread with all the work you have put in to the new axle/disc conversion. Hope patching it up goes well.

Eastwood has a "rust converter" or whatever that comes with a spray nozzle on a hose that you can spray inside. I used it on my camaro subframe after I blasted it.

Honestly you'd be better off cutting it out and replacing it though. Wouldn't be that hard to fab.
