Here's my score for the trip! The hood peeled quite a bit, I scraped all the bubbles off after I took the photo of it. It's mainly on the left side, lots of small spots in the middle, and a medium size mark on the right side. All fixable. I also have to use some POR15 on the inside of the hood lip and a few spots on the inside of the fender, but I already have the POR15 anyways!

No worries, I won't be there either. The car needs a lot of little things fixed, and I have too many projects with not enough money. I can only "afford" my family vacation this year anyways, lol.

So good and bad...

Front fender is finished, coated the rust in POR15 and painted the bad spots as well! I also got the rust on the hood lip POR15'd, but haven't taken an after picture yet. But in the final stage of repainting my hood, a strong gust of wind blew the hood over and dented it up too. I'd been working on it for a week like this with no issues until today. The girlfriend is using the garage to change the fuel tank in her Cavalier, so I had nowhere to lay it flat. No reason to give me crap on this one, I don't need it. Looks like I'm breaking out the Bondo.

When you don't want to spend money on new dew strips and you have Gorilla Tape laying around...

My phone crashed last week, finally got the replacement today, so here's two pics I stole from Bobby Duphily and Shane when they swung by on their way home from Bfest on Sunday, haha.

I'd been having issues with a leaking passenger output shaft seal on the trans, so today I installed a new seal and a NEW new halfshaft, not a reman unit. I used some Ultra Grey on the lip of the seal, used Ultra Black last time.

Once it dries tomorrow, we'll see if it fixes it! The new halfshaft has less play than the reman unit, so hoping that was also part of the issue...

Output shaft leak has been resolved! The lady's Cavalier is taking up the garage, once it's out of there the rear axle is next for the big project!
