She's dented, dinged, and needs some rust and paint repair... But she still cleans up good! Finally hit it with the polishing mitt tonight.

Side note - handles so much better now!

Oh I'm ready! I've only missed two years out of the nineteen I've been going. I will make it to a Bfest someday though.

New Thundervolts! My last set has been on three engines, were used when I bought them, and lasted me nine years!

Nice! I like Taylor cables -great quality, huge selection (colors and boot-angles). I have a set on my '89 RS Camaro with a 350 F/I Police Special, they've been on there for at least eight years and still work perfectly, they show no wear or age even near the headers.

They're great! Cheap for being performance wires, and readily available still too!

I have a very similar gauge "bezel" trim in my old Z (mine is unpolished stainless, yours looks polished or chrome in that pic) and silver EL gauge face overlay behind it. I love the look of your red-faced gauges, were they custom-made? I also custom-built a whole cluster for my 'old' Camaro using third-gen Trans Am gauges, and made red-faced gauges with black honeycomb (the then-new GTO came out right around then with red-faced gauges too). Yours look more professionally done though. :good:

I know how you feel about the mileage slowly edging up -back in college, the miles built quickly, now I am lucky to change the oil by mileage instead of time. Congrats on the milestone!

Thanks man! If it was reliable back in the day, it would probably have a lot more miles haha.

The bezel is chrome, and the overlay is a custom designed Speedhut setup. I had that and the HVAC panel done at the same time, very shortly afterwards they discontinued the designs too.

I had a brushed overlay like that in my Z26. I actually contacted Speedhut to make a cluster for me but they had discontinued them. So I made my own.... Haha

It also looks like you won't have access to your driver door if someone parks on the left. lol. Just playin'. :P

Congratulations on the purchase! Nice homes are hard to find at descent prices from what I've been seeing, at least where I live. One house had a 50k+ annual tax and was under 200k value. lol.
