I hope your car has an alarm on it.

Any neighbors that see that will probably want to break a window and take it.

The car is only left in the garage.  It also has a detachable face.  But I did take out my Viper alarm as it had been giving me troubles.  So with one of the next pay checks come a new high end Viper, though it annoys me that the high end ones HAVE to come with remote start.

I would like to see/know where you put your battery ground at?
What did you do with the engine bay neg cable?
IIRC, I put mine on the unibody frame right near where my muffler would go above the heat shield there.
I put my neg cable from the engine bay mounted onto the unibody upfront by the canister that would normally sit there.
I like not having A/C, well maybe.

No problems yet.

It was from Summit, nothing fancy.   A lot of this setup will be first run trial.  I want to see how the car runs with a modified TGP code, used Saab intercooler, TGP 22lb inj's, stock ful pump(likely not for long) etc.

Once I see it runs in a reasonable state of tune and semi reliably I will do things for a round two, like a nice stainless battery box, standalone engine management etc.

It doesnt pay to go exotic and pretty right out of the box.

I thought about it.  I would wonder what to put in the center in its place.  It is so tempted to put something behind the cupholder face as it is a perfect din size, great for a stealth install.

This works for now.  I will get more exotic as I upgrade the rest of the audio.  My JL 12W6 will be switched to a 12W7, and my 6x9's for 6.5" JL's, or MB Quarts.

Dont know.   I didnt wind up installing it.  I had the car in the shop to install the sat/dvd system, so they said they would install the battery for virtually nothing since they would have the interior apart.......I took em up on the offer.

On to  my last off topic.  I got the rear skirts on.  They didnt quite fit due to the painting and heat warped them.  So I bought some double sided tape, and then gently used a heat gun to make them more plyable.  This worked out pretty well and the fit is 100x better.   I will get pics when it stops raining.

Looks good man.  Did you do the little trick with the ground wires so you play dvds while driving?  I have my D300 hooked up that way.  Works great for the passenger on a long trip.  Hit me up on AIM.

Yeah, I tried living with out it.  It lasted 10 hours.  I went back and had the bypass installed.   Without it you need to hit the brake, pull the e-brake, then let off the brake let down the e brake and pull it up again.   It was soooo annoying.

A bypass module?  meh.  All I did was find the wire for the footbrake lights.  Splice the footbrake wire into it like you're supposed to do.  Then hooked the ebrake wire up to a ground with a switch inline.  Press brake, flip switch...mobile video.

With the "module" I dont have to worry about any switch.

I know why your tach probably sticks...

The overlay may be rubbing the back side of the needle, either pull the needle off a little more or re-tape your overlay with more 2 sided tape.  Mine did it before.
