Indy

Post by Mkweaver1958 »

Here are a couple shots of my Indy out front at work.
A little history:
This was my mom's first brand new car (she only wanted a small economical 4 dr with AC, Auto and radio).
She saw it on the lot and told the salesman right then and there she wanted it. (Not a real deal maker).
Still in the family with 144K miles.
It's my daily commuter.
Originally from NJ now in FL.

Looks nice! Good to keep a car like that in the family, especially when you still get good use out of it. Is the paint on the rear quarter-panel oxidized, or just not as gorgeously shiny as the rest of the car? Did your family keep it mostly garaged? I'm also assuming auto, A/C, is it digital dash or analog gauges? It looks SOOO much nicer than my Teal Indy!

Thanks,
Yes the rear quarter panel is not as shiny, it was repainted years ago after a small fender bender and the paint has not aged the same.
Poorer quality paint because the rest of the car buffs up nicely.
After a good detailing it is far less obvious.
Yes, Auto, A/C (that failed last year - grrrr) with still functioning digital dash.
Interior is near mint, showing minimal wear surprisingly.
