Few other things in store before Bfest... Torque Converter swap, LSD inspection and repair... Slipping and I think it's due to when the axle broke and it slipped badly due to no load on that side. Actually trying to source a different limited slip diff...................
Oh and I'd really like to swap dashes in the Indy before as well.

For the weekends that were nice outside and would've allowed for car stuff, I found myself working on the house. Homeownership sucks lol

Yeah that's what I did most of yesterday including that we had some friends down from NH. Just bought a 10x12 shed for all of the yard equipment so that's another project that will have to be taken on soon...1988GTU wrote:For the weekends that were nice outside and would've allowed for car stuff, I found myself working on the house. Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
Some updates in the Exhaust thread regarding my Spintech muffler install.
On a different note, I have a set of TR6IX iridium plugs that were recommended by NGK after them hearing my configuration... Stock plugs are TR55IX for a 05 Malibu 3500, and I ran TR6's two years ago successfully and it was last year that I melted stock heat range plugs by mistake. SO I also have a set of TR7IX plugs on their way, this will give me both 1 or 2 heat ranges cooler option. Which do you think I should start with? I'm leaning towards the 2 degree cooler since I'm running 10.5:1 now vs 9.15:1 on the previous engine where the 1 degree cooler was working. I'm so nervous lately after what happened... I think better colder than too hot... I'd rather foul a plug than melt one.

I would agree. Fouled plugs are an easy fix. Melted...not so much.

I read somewhere awhile ago that you go colder 1 heat range per around 50hp, I went 2 or 3 when I installed the SC. I would go at least 2 with yours.

What plugs are you running? or do you not remember and I should just look at them when I get home? lol
Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
I honestly can't remember, you've removed them more than I have, I only remember that they are 2-3 steps colder, are iridium and are made for an Aston Martin I believe.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
Tyler has TR6IX plugs, and I put TR7IX plugs in mine to be safe... Id rather clean a fouled plug than have to replace another melted one... I'll bring the TR6IX's with me. TR8IX is another option for 3 ranges colder than stock.
