My 1990 Chevrolet Beretta Indy

Post by indygurl »

Hi, my name is Jessica. This is my 1990 Chevrolet Beretta Indy. It has the 3.1L V6 3 speed auto with 123,xxx miles. I have done a few repairs to the car since i have had it. i put a straight pipe on it for now til i can have the entire exhaust redone. i gutted out the interior, cleaned the carpet and cleaned the interior. She runs great and shifts perfect. The rims were on the wrong way and the tires were compleatly weathered when i first got the car but i got some new tires and had them put on the right way.
Here is my photo bucket with all my photos on it.

You will be able to post images, once you have enough initial posts in. I think you need 5 posts or something.

Welcome aboard! Feel free to poke around or comment on other threads, it will also help. :D

I hate when people drink to much and rake leaves off the hoods of their car.=) Then throw cinder blocks at fenders.

She's from the same place I am (South Haven, MI). She's my GF. If you want pictures, there are 47 on her photobucket account (IDK what the link is) and on my account.

Not bad, could use some TLC and is a great car. Door panels are nice.

The carpeting is another story. It has the infamous Beretta leakage somewhere along the driver and passenger side. The day we get her we are going to a couple junkyards to try and find a hood and grey carpet.

Take the plastic panel at the bottom of the window off, could be rust or around the air inlet(gasket deteriorated) or where the group of wires goes thru on the passengers side. There are good post on here for that and/or links.

Today was a busy day. We gutted the interior to replace the carpet. It looks so wierd without everything in it. We will be getting a battery tomorrow.

Cool you guys. A PM will be sent when I get a quote for shipping on that K&N(to indygurl).

It is somewhat over oiled, so don't put anymore on. :)

And I would recommend a short ram(WAI) later on. The 3.1 can use a bit more top end. To get a CAI on you will have to do some cutting and I don't think you want to do that anyway.
