Vert model?

First time poster. Had a 1990 Beretta GTZ black back in 96. Had constant problems with the car, but it was a blast to drive in HS.

Which engine is more reliable with less problems? Quad 4 or the 3.1 v6?

Also I thought they didn't make the Beretta in a vert, yet there's one on autotrader right now.

More reliable and less problems = 3.1L V6. Done.

They did NOT make convertible Berettas available to the public. PLEASE post the link to the one you are seeing.

EDIT: If you are looking at this car, note that it is not a convertible. It's a "Hollywood Top", meaning that he cut the top off entirely. Good lord is that hideous! "The ultimate Lakers fan car!" HA!

Here was one, there was a discussion in the Third Party subforum, for a few days, but someone deleted it.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-91-92-93-94- ... 7675.l2557

I can't believe that it could have been crushed. The salvage yard that was trying to part this out said that someone was going to buy the whole car, and yanked all their parts postings.

Yeah, I talked to the guy and he said he had several offers on it, and 1990BerettaGTZ said it was sold then. Glad it hopefully went to someone and did not get crushed. Had it not been 2000 miles away I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Wonder how much he got for it?

Idk who keeps deleting my posts but everytime I post about it my thread gets deleted cause I was trying to find out who bought it if it was a board member, but they told me that they had an offer of 2,000 and I offered 2100 and they said they had it sold I would have went up as high as 4,000 just take another loan out and it would have been mine (evil laugh) muaahhhahahahahahahahaha lol but whatever probably my only chance in my life to actually buy my dream beretta I probably would have fixed it up with a 3.1 turbo gp motor or a north swap not sure I would have cut it up at all though wish gm made an old style 3.4 cause that have been my choice oh well

This is absolutely unacceptable.

The original post was deleted, now subsequent posts are getting deleted? Why? This is a beretta forum, is it not? I wonder how long this thread stays up.

If they *said* they sold it to someone, they are fibbing me thinks. These cars were under contract and once the school(s) were done with them the cars were to be certified crushed. This one just seems to have had parts stripped off before the deed was done. Anything to make a buck right?

Its sad, but the cars just did not hold up to having the roof removed. GM Pays a lot of money to hoards of lawyers, and are serious about contracts so I really don't think they would have trouble suing a yard into submission.

Dare to dream though Fellas!
