GROUP BUY: Eibach ProKit (3805.140) for 87-94 Berettas

Post by DanteGTZ »

*edited 10/31/13 am*

THE SPRINGS ARE HERE!
I have sent out quotes to everyone that included an address with their payment. Most of the quotes were via FedEx as they were generally ~$10 cheaper than USPS or UPS. If you didn't get an email, PM or Facebook message with a quote (or a msg asking for your address), PLEASE LET ME KNOW! As always, I'm easily reachable if you have questions.

***NOTE*** At the bottom of the emails I sent with the shipping quotes, I mistyped my email address. My CORRECT email address is [removed]. Please make sure you use the correct email address when sending shipping payments. Sorry for the confusion!

Now comes the final part - The shipping from me to you. Since I have 40+ boxes to try and ship, I will do my best to get everything taken care of quickly, but please be patient with me as I try to get everyone taken care of. If you sent your ship-to address along with your payment, I still have it. If not, please email me your name/screen name and the address you'd like your springs mailed to.

If you choose to use a call tag and pay for the shipping directly to the carrier, that is fine by me. Please note if using this method, UPS is easier on my end as they come to my office early in the day for pickups. If you choose to setup a call tag, the dimensions are: L-27" W-16" H-8" and the package weighs 37lbs. The ship-FROM zip code is 37917.

If you'll be paying me for the shipping costs, I will need them paid before I can ship your springs.

If you have any questions, please ask - You can also email me at: [removed].

More to follow!

GROUP BUY STATUS: CLOSED FOR ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS; PURCHASE ORDER PLACED WITH EIBACH 7/29/13!

Eibach has confirmed our order and we are officially underway. Eibach's tentative order completion date (ready for bulk/freight shipment) is 9/30/13. I will continue to update as new information arrives.

43 paid orders!!

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ!!!!

Alright, this group purchase is officially a GO. I've gotten all of the details worked out with Eibach and as soon as the money has been collected, they will do a short production run of the 3805.140. This kit will fit:

1987-1994 CHEVROLET CAVALIER Z24
1987-1994 BUICK SKYLARK
1987 BUICK SOMERSET
1987-1994 CHEVROLET CAVALIER
1987-1994 PONTIAC SUNBIRD
1987-1994 PONTIAC GRAND AM
1987-1994 CHEVROLET BERETTA
1987-1994 CHEVROLET CORSICA
1992-1994 OLDSMOBILE ACHIEVA

This endeavor is a one-time, group purchase. Eibach will build any number of kits we need, but they need 25 to get started. We need a MINIMUM of 25 PREPAID orders before Eibach will produce the kits. After payment is received, Eibach will take up to 8 WEEKS to manufacture the order. They will then ship the entire order to me by freight truck. I will then be shipping these out to each individual, probably via FedEx. You'll pay the actual shipping fees plus just $5 to cover my fuel costs. I will do my best to find the best possible rates.

PRICING:

The price is $153 PER 3805.140 kit. This price does not include shipping to you, this is simply the purchase price.

SHIPPING:

After I have received the bulk shipment from Eibach, I will give you a quote for shipping of the springs from me to you. I realize this shipping scenario isn't ideal, but part of the pricing associated with this group buy involves Eibach making a bulk order with one shipping destination. I will shop around for the best shipping prices on these springs. Once I get a shipping quote, I would ask you to PayPal the shipping cost to me - This will allow me to ship your springs FAST!

TIMEFRAME:

After the order has been placed and paid with Eibach, it will take them approximately 8 weeks to fulfill the order and prepare it for shipment. I am assuming it will take a week to arrive here, to me, and then another week or 2 for me to get them shipped out to each individual buyer. PLAN ON delivery of your springs about 10-11 weeks after Eibach gets the payment.

PAYMENT:

I've tried to make this process as easy and painless as I can for all involved. That being said, rather than send Eibach 25+ individual payments, I'd like to send them a lump sum payment directly. The best way to do this would be for all interested parties to make their payments directly to me. I realize this may not be the preferred method, but it is the only way that we, as a community, can accurately check the status of this type of group purchase. We will know EXACTLY when all payments have been received and exactly when our order is placed. This also helps Eibach to maintain 1 order instead of many small ones (Keep in mind, this is a large scale manufacturer and will be shipping these via pallet to a single address).

I've been part of the Beretta community for over 13 years now and many members know me personally. I plan on keeping everyone fully aware of the status of the group buy and will make myself available via phone, email, Facebook and Beretta.Net.

Payment Info Removed

In an effort to make this process fair for everyone, I will place the order with Eibach one week AFTER receiving the first 25 orders. This will help to ensure that everybody gets their springs in a timely fashion and we're not all waiting on one slow payment. PayPal is really the best way to make your payment. Not only is it immediate, it will also give both you and I proof of payment, protecting everyone involved.

Do it. I have them on my 91 and also had them on my 95. They are a good spring.

How much do they lower your car I need to see what's under my garnet gtz and black gtz, I know they garnet has the stiffest best riding suspension I've riden in when ever a road drops the car has little give and feels like the car is just riding level has terrific recoil too doesn't float bounce you to death which my celebrity does and I hate wonder if they'd fit under it too

Tyler is this for the 95 in your sig? Cause the rear springs will not fit. I believe the 95-96 kit is readily available anyway though. Has not been discontinued yet.

Incorrect... Both kits are discontinued... they just love us that much!

You can get them for an Aveo though just in case the roller skate isn't low enough for you.

Only thing even slightly close thats left is the 95+ cavi which I think is a different spring overall since there was never a v6 in that car plus the struts are different. Hell they discontinued my 07 Legacy springs in 2010 I think... lol

I'm sure throwing the idea out to the 2nd Gen J-Body related forums would help fill out that list.
