I had to use a dremel with a small bit to make the slots for the tabs on the molding.

Other topic mentions Restoration Specialties PN MR87X 96, did we have a conclusion of what fits the best :)?

I realized mine are gone after 28 years and need to replace them finally..

PN MR87X is the PN that is installed on both my Indy and the Pink car IIRC... I'm not 100% positive on that, but I know the ones I did on my Indy fit perfectly fine, and that's the number you quoted.

Unchanged. I went with the longer version of the strip material and I think that it’s closer to factory and wipes the window as it should. The exterior portion of the imulsified rubber-plastic is now the plague for all windows, not just this lower strip. This is the part that is pulled off leaves all metal under it. We don’t have a fix for that.
