Yeah there was never a 95-96 5-speed V6 beretta... That's the point we are trying to make and why it makes this swap a bit more difficult than just getting parts. The 3100 SFI engine was never bolted to a 5-speed from GM... only the 2.8's and 3.1 MPFI engines were.

If i could find a 5 speed gtz i would rather have it and just make the z26 a daily driver or show car or even parts/racecar. If im right the way i want it to look is basically going to look like a gtz anyways.

IMO, link up with some nearby beretta enthusiasts. Ask the questions you want to know for procuring the parts, procure those parts, and line up help. Once you align that as needed, pick up additional shop like items. Item's might be and not limited to, tools, fluids, cleaners, barbecuer, food, more parts, beerverages, ice, more food, another pair of front tires, and more part.

I feel like a bottle of liquor and some beer should be included in that list

If you're worried about parts being hard to find...anything you do is going to be an issue.

Having said that, I've had a quad4/5spd, 3100/auto, 3400/auto, and a 3400/5spd. 3400/5spd is by far the most fun.

3400/auto would be the easiest.
