Easy LED 3rd Brake Light Conversion

I bought some LED replacements for the halogen bulbs in the 3rd brake light. It cost about $15 with shipping.
The only thing I had to do was open the hole in the reflector where the bulb goes through so the LED will pass through.
The LEDs don't need positive and negative orientation since they can also operate on AC current.
I got them from superbrightleds.com as you can see in the photo. Here they are illuminated with a 60 watt CFL bulb shown in the pic for comparison.
