Hey guys,

To start off it’s great to be on this forum and it’s going to be good talking to all
you guys, also I had no idea where to post this so if it is in the wrong area let me
know and I will move it.

My family wants to gift my brother a Chevrolet Beretta. I
have been looking online for a beat up Chevrolet Beretta for sale and
there are many to choose from but I don’t know what I am looking at to be honest.
What I need to know is a rough price range I should be going for, and then any tips
and tricks that will help along the refurbishment.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks guys.

Where are you located? Nobody can recommend one unless they know where you are at.
You'll want to look at the underside and avoid too much rust.
Look in the trunk at the shock towers to be sure they are solid.
You also want to check under the carpet in the front for water from
a firewall leak. Most have them, if it does NOT it's a plus.
I know of a fairly nice Z26 near Chicago. It needs some mechanical TLC
but the body and paint is pretty solid.

Use this to search all of craigslist by distance:
http://www.searchtempest.com/

Use various keywords like Beretta, Chevy Beretta, Chevrolet Beretta, Beretta Indy, Beretta Z26, etc...

The for sale section on this site also sometimes has Chevy Beretta's listed for sale as well.

I'm in NE ohio, its up to you which ones you want from whats out there, I have two listed for sale in the Akron/Canton Craigslist, my contact info is listed if you are interested.

There are also some listed on Autotrader.com and cars.com (Cars.com makes it hard to find vehicles older than 2000 so idk if its worth it to use that site).

I don't use facebook anymore, but there is a Beretta Parts and auto sales group on facebook, as well as a Chevy Beretta owners group on facebook too.

I hope this helps! :)

Edit link:
The facebook parts and auto sales group can be viewed without a facebook account.
the other one seems to be locked to facebook users only.
