Who's got what left to do for B'Fest?

Post by Asylum »

I plan on leaving on the 22nd (7 days) for B'fest and still have a brake issue, and the fact I now have only about 30 minutes on this engine/trans.

And not a single WOT full run!

YIKES!

I'm just about ready... couple minor things.

Put door panels back together
Put passenger door trim back on
Install door panels
Replace timing cover gasket/oil pan gasket
Check the wiring for my stereo in the trunk (getting whine through the speakers, wasn't like that until I thought my amps went back last summer and moved RCA's around)

I want to do a cut & buff on my paint job and fix my leaky injectors and port my UIM for the new TCE tb. I also need to do my headliner. Easy enough right?

Lots. If it hadn't been for the fact that my little computer shop was so fucking busy I would have a lot more done. Taking 2 days off this week so I can get the frigging interior done, and some PROJECT work I NEED to do done for others! ;) Its nuts around here! I am glad to be busy but damn! I have things to do! LOL

Anyways, back to it!

And on top of everything else, I still don't have seat rails. Looks like I may need some from another source! Even if I could only get one set and a couple of the bolts I would be happy! Anyone? I had sent the other person 25 bucks in an MO and they claim they haven't gotten it yet. Been 2 full weeks. Odd. But I need them to get the car interior done, or I am going to be a seat short! LOL

Um... Put my drivers seat back in, do a few maf tunes, and make a exhaust section with my dump... I MIGHT swap in the rear fold down seat... But I'm thinking no since I would have to pull all the stereo stuff off of it before installing, but we'll see.

Damn you guys are making my to do list sound easy... LOL

DTM... I can pull a set from my red car and ship tomorrow and we can square off at Bfest if you want.

Brake line fixed!

Except for a wash and some clean up from sitting around all winter, I think it's good to go.

I'm going to represent Berettas in Carlisle since the ones there are usually riced-out queermobiles.

So you would rather hang out with the riced out queermobiles is what your saying?

What I'm saying is wouldn't you rather see Berettas be represented by this:

Rather than this:

I hang out with the old-fart NastyZ guys at the campground because I only meet up with them once a year.

At least that one is low. I love low cars. How he do it?

Considering I don't really have much available time to get anything really done, I'll just settle for having a working battery in it. I started it for the first time this year on monday and the battery was totally dead (won't even restart after running a while dead).

I have a trans to install, some fluid lines to run, and some welding to complete....... and tune.

PM sent, I will take them if you can get them out tomorrow. I was out of the office all day or I would have messaged you sooner..

For the official to-do list, and I don't even know how much will be done before I leave:

Finish cleaning and prepping the floor pan. Put in body sealer where it needs it. Paint the floor pan. Put in new padding in places and new carpet. Make sure all the mount holes are good through the carpet. Oh, before I lay the new carpet, run the AMP wiring through the conduits! Reinstall the interior pieces, after cleaning each and every item thoroughly. Rebuild the visors and reinstall. Install the rear view mirror back on. If I have time, do a couple of custom interior projects I had planned to do. Doubt this is going to happen though.
Install the AC compressor. Charge the AC. Replace both front wheel bearings. Redo all the brakes on all 4 wheels. Rotate tires and put in oil change of Royal Purple that I bought a month ago. Do a good wash/polish/wax, etc. Go over the trims and rubbers, make everything pretty.

As I said, lots to do. I'm taking Wed/Thurs off from everything to work on JUST the car. I will get the interior done this week, one way or another.

Woody, I would rather see your car as the substance that emits from the south end of a north bound horse than a bunch of Camaroooos!
