Not bad.

The wheels catch my eye though, a bit wavy.
BTW, if you hold down the option key as you draw the wheel using the ellipse tool it will start drawing from the center point of the shape. Then once you get the shape drawn then rotate it to fit ;)

I think the waviness of the wheel is an optical illusion due to the black and white being all around it... Correct me if I'm wrong Wanako.

It may be an optical illusion because I'm not seeing any wavyness.

Thanks for the tip Mindy. I had completely forgotten about that. =)

Honestly I think it's the resolution of the raster image that you saved and posted to the web that makes it look that way. ;)

that's what's happening. when you brought that up I went to directly to the .ai file to make sure everything looked good. the jpeg file just exported weird. like I said im stil getting used to illustrator. :)

I haven't gotten word from him yet. Last time he logged on was on Wed. If someone closer to him wants to tell him he's got a PM from me please do. Put in a good word for me, most here know I'm a good guy. I don't plan to do something bad with the name. I might try AIM later tonight. looks like he's got an AIM address listed on his profile.

Let's hope this goes through. :friends:

Yeah Mike gets busy around this time and its typically not till after the new year that lots of chatter comes from him as far as planning goes, but I'm sure you should be able to get a hold of him somehow.

His direct e-mail should be linked on here as well... if you haven't tried that, or for a more personal approach I can PM you his e-mail addy so you can send something direct from you.

I'm sold! I'd love to have one of those. Maybe we can do a z04 car and a base? Just cause, you know, gtz and all. Lol

Bnet logo along with the event logos have always been a Z26 or GTZ depending on what you want to call it, SO you might want to try making up one of those ;)

Not a huge deal, but would be neat to see the difference so people have a choice.

I'll give you a snapshot to work with, BUT it's not a full Z04... I'm missing the spoiler.

I reversed my image since it was facing the other way, so Beretta is backwards... LOL

Thanks Jon, that's the right angle right there. I'll give the Z04 body a try, see If I can make something work out. Although, if it comes out right everybody will want Z04's and no Base/GT love. Not many love their Base/GT bodies like I do.
