Stormtrooped... As in a white car with black wheels? I have rocked that look for years...

I prefer to call that look "Panda", but that is one of my favorite colour schemes.

Polish the lip and I think it could look pretty good.

I say do it. Especially if it is just Plasti-dip that can be easily removed. But yes, in my opinion you will want to leave the lip metal as a highlight. If you put a completely black wheel on the car it will just look like to black holes where your tires are. That's how I've always felt anyway, which is why I have always had polished lip black wheels.

no polished lip looks like a monster truck tire, the center cap becomes the "rim" visually and the tire looks huge since you can't see where the rim ends and the tire starts.

got one wheel plastidipped today. took 2 tries to get this one right. for some reason it bubbled in spots even after cleaning etc. i have done these wheels and the ones on my old jeep before and this is the first time thats happened. it is kind of growing on me even with out the lip. stripping the wheel seems to help get rid of imperfections and dips. the plasti dip hides them pretty well after that. my neighbor decided cutting his grass would be a cool idea right in the middle of the 2nd coat so there is a little trash in there. i like the black look over the white i had. once i get them all done i'm gonna take some better pics with my cam and not my phone

I like it. I like white vehicles with pure black rims.

I feel like it's too much black; it would look better if the rim was polished to separate the wheel a little better. Kinda like GTZ wheels.

you mean with a reflective quality?

that pic really doesnt do it justice. of course its flat black but the wheel itself looks pretty good.

Leave it all black but maybe paint the inserts white. Sort of like where the teal on the wheels are on a teal Indy.

Some people don't like all black wheels, like my friends who all think it looks cheap.

I think it looks great! I got the same thing done to my K5 Jimmy.

Too black, cant even see the rim, just looks like a huge solid wheel.

As I said, I think that it is too black also. But, let's see the finished product.
