What is up with spambots now days? I mean look at the posts, even people who don't know any better wouldn't click on that crap.. I mean I'd be like, pfft mumbo jumbo close. I mean how are they going to get anyone to click on the links when you can't make out a word of it or it's just random crap and doesn't even appear interesting?

They are just annoying now more than anything. Why do these people waste their time writing this crap? Go get a job programming and make some money with your skill....

To be clear, the board was not hacked. The latest spam posts have been made by either bots that can pull the captcha data and the activation data, or by actual people. For the time being I have set a 5 post cap before you can post without approval. These settings will be changed again once I get the new registration method implemented.

now that the bfest registration is up I have more time to devote to this, I will be working on a lot of the basic site this week and will be finalizing forum stuff. Once that is done then I will be posting on the moderator issue.
