BerettaFest 2010 Registration is OPEN!!

Post by quad4berettagtz »

Without further adieu...

BerettaFest 2010 registration is now open and taking its first orders. First, a few notes about this year's registration:

1. This year's registration is in the format of an online store. You will be able to add items (reg, shirts, passengers) to your cart and then checkout.

2. To register and add items to the cart, you will need to sign up for a log in account. This information is ONLY for Bfest registration and will not be distributed in any way. Once you have signed up you will be able to register.

3. As always once your payment has been recieved via Paypal, Money Order, or Cashier's Check, we will promptly send out the hotel information. You will have to reserve your hotel room on your own by calling the hotel directly with the phone number provided.

4. Registration will run from April 18, 2010 until Sunday May 30, 2010. The hotel is opening our reserved rooms to the public on June 3rd, so payment must be recieved by Tuesday June 1st at the LATEST. This will also line up with our t-shirt order, so any payments recieved after June 1st we cannot guarantee that your room OR t-shirts will be available. We will do our best to get an order in, but please simply pay ASAP to avoid any issues.

5. Late registrations, or registrations for a saturday only person, will need to contact the registrar via email at registration@berettafest.info - Please note that these will be considered on a case by case basis and that we will not be able to gurantee the availability of certain items such as t-shirts.

SO....

Please visit http://berettafest.info to get registered today!! We'll see you in the Windy City!

Well I'm registered but it is somewhat interesting to note the racing at Great Lakes Dragway on Friday evening is not included in the "official" itinerary.

C'mon guys!! It's not like it hasn't been well documented!

Hmmm...

Thought that was included when I sent it over to Will. Either way, good catch! We'll get that updated ASAP.

Thanks!

Hotel is paid separately. You will receive a packet in the mail or via E-mail, not sure which way this year, with all the info on the locations and you need to call and reserve a room in the Block that is set aside for us, and obviously pay for it yourself, OR split it with someone else that is willing to bunk up. We do have a locked in lower rate then the normal one night stay though so if you don't reserve the room within the time frame you will have to pay full price after that.

The only limit is what your car can hold..... legally lol
If you have an additional car coming then you need to have the driver register as a driver though.

The hotel information will be emailed to you once payment is recieved and marked down on the registration page. Just make sure to follow the directions that come in that email!

Check out http://www.greatlakesdragaway.com for pricing. I found general pricing in the FAQ section, as the night we are going there is not a scheduled event, it should be about $12 to spectate and $35 to race as far as I can tell.

Saturday is the Picnic, so just register as if you were coming for the whole event and then just never call the hotel for a room, the registration money goes toward the funding of the picnic food and drinks so even if your only coming for that day it's expected of you to pay for the registration. Now if you were only showing up for the dragway thats a different story, thats a self funded event, and I think you are excluded from winning a trophy if your not present at the picnic so the cost doesn't need to be covered, but I'm not sure on that.
