same here
I feel the same way. What about a write up for building your own mandrel bent exhaust like some of you guys have? The cutting and welding may be too much for your average mechanic though.

Yeah its kinda hard to do that unless someone takes the time to document the exact lengths he cuts every bend at to result in the proper design.

I want to do it to mine, but its not high on my priority list since there is something already there and I use the cutout at the track.

Jon, I appreciate you doing this btw. It will be nice to clean up some of the forum sections by having the info in one place, easily accessible via the homepage to anyone who comes (or at least easier for us to find and link someone to =P).

Thats exactly what I want to do. I also hope that Bnet gets hit more for search engines and more people get the simple answers they are looking for without having to start a thread and wait for approval and get an answer.

Big FAQ's on a car forum are really good to have.

Made a few more changes, Started to add in more engine specifications. I'll get the 3400 stuff up later today but now all those Specs are links under a FAQ Engine Specs page that's in the Articles section, rather than down in the how-to area.

I'll be doing more and more as I find better ways to organize the info that's there and adding any info people want to see up there.

I am working on a suspension part number list for the main site. So far have eibach, energy suspension, and canucks. I am still working on part numbers for shocks, struts, and sway bars. I will send it to you Jon when I am done.

you can work anything up as a new thread in the appropriate section also, that way it can be linked off the main site and you get appropriate credit for your work

Its also easier that way if you are doing a write up with pics

Good point, I think I'll do that and make the link direct to the site... less HTML for me to deal with :)

yes and no, really you dont need to worry about the html either way with wordpress, but in terms of work, if there is a thread it you are converting to an article follow the format from your strut mount article I converted.

also, tramadol is underrated (clipped my foot with a 5000lb piece of equipment thursday night)

I just fixed the door panel article to shrink down the pics to fit.
