Will 225/45zr-17 fit on my car?

i was thinking if they would fit without any rubbing?  I have to buy a new set of tires cause mine are already bald as hell.  And i picked Falken Azenis as my choice as for the price and all the praise it has gotten, so can you guys give me some quick answers, so i can purchase or pick other tires that will fit?

Go with 225/40 for the correct sizing.

225/40R17 is what heavywoody has, no rubbing whatsoever. Where are you buying tires from? I like tirerack.com.

Ballistic and Canada are wrong, I have 225/45/17 RE730's. I didn't have any rubbing in the month that they were on the car.

225/45/17 is the appropriate sizing... 40 series are too rubber-bandish, and will throw your speedo off, not to mention induce a stiffer ride. You can get 215/45/17, but the optional sizing of the 225/45's are what most people get with Beretta's.

the azeni's will give a much stiffer ride by them selves the side walls are much thicker. All in all a very nice bargain for a "street class" tire

22545ZR17 Kumho Ecstra Supra 712s, no rubbing here! Excellent ride!

Might I add that I have a set of 2054016 tires on my base '91, and the ride is harsh as all hell. Stick with the 45s.

I completly agree with Geoff and Phuck  225 45 17 is the way to go.

Take it from the original tire and WHEEL moderator.

I think I had mistaken the number for the 18 inch sizing....

But we shouldn't even have this thread because he did not look in the "pinned" topic on top of this forum.......
