Yah, I had this exact same problem too awhile back.  I had a pink box under the dash.  I just went to  a junkyard and openend up the pink box and grabbed the whole circuit board out.  Alot easier than trying to solder those little fuses back to the board.

The cars that I have repaired/diagnosed this in had neons or some sort of light bulb replacement.   Becareful guys when playing with your 94-96 cars.  I hope we can wrap this post up with a resistor value in case someone wanted to repair their boxes.
BTW box colors have some meaning....i will start keeping track, but i think below is correct.
There was a recal in 1996 because of lights turning on while driving...GM felt this to be a safety fault and recalled the modules placing Tan ones in.
PINK = 1994
BLUE =  1995
TAN  = 1995,1996 revised module

Ok I took out the board, and I got one out of a 95 Beretta at the yard. These are totally different. The 94 has a PC type speaker, and the 95 has an exclosed one (unsure)

These look totally different, the 95 has no fuses (the 94 has 4 of them) and very few resistors.

in fact the 95 board DOES NOT FIT in the 94 Pink Box. Well the lid doesn't closer anyways, there would have to be modification....

The 95 board came out of a tan/brown box. So if I were to go by what was already posted, then this is the update?

Neither board appear to have burnt resistors.....

I won't put this into the car until I find out if this is the correct board.

I didn't replace any resistors,  I actually replaced two fuses.  Make sure to look very closely at them.

OK I decided after finding out that I wouldn't fry anything (biggest fear I have about newer cars) I plugged the newer style 95 board into the old Zed, and TAA DAA there are lights. I even waited to make sure that they shut off. everything works so far.

I'd suggest anyone with a 94 upgrade to the 95 board. seems like it wouldn't blow out as easy as the 94, and perhaps a regular fuse would blow, instead of an expensive board.

I did run over the 94 board with my tester, and one of the fuses doesn't work. It's a fuse with a black strip (there are red and white ones also) but perhaps it's black because it blew. doesn't look that way, but I'd imagine underneith the strip it is shot.

Thanks for the help.

i am going to go to the junk yard this week and get myself a new board then cause thats probably what it is.  how hard was it to install the 95 board on the 94?  any cutting involved? time consuming?

Ok guys when your lights went out...did your radio station presets reset everytime you turned the car off too?
