Battery in trunk

Post by Guest »

I spent an hour two days ago moving everything needed to get the battery in the trunk, and then yesterday i spend about an hour making all the wiring in the engine compartment look pretty and organized.  It looks pretty sweet the way i have it all done, and the only thing i dont like about it is the low power for starting the car (replacement OEM battery) i think its time to upgrade to a optima.

Battery in trunk

Here's a dumb question - My mechanic said there may be laws in Michigan requiring any battery moved to the trunk to be hooked up to a kill switch in case of a fire.  Does anybody know if such a law exists?  Even if you're not in Michigan, I'm still curious about whatever state you're in.  Odds are fairly good that if you have that law, we probably do too.

Thanks guys!
