Installed it Friday and been test driving. Better is many ways. I was shocked by the fuel milage im getting now. I swear at least 5 more MPG. Bizzare! I need to do more driving to see... but still got a lot of work to do on my 'retta

Should work with any filter that has a 3 inch diameter hole.

My setup needed to a second coupler. Comes with a black one. Bought a blue coupler at the local Autozone. I've looked at a few Air Intake setups for 2.2 but this one is the best Ive seen... and done! Going to try to make it CAI a little later.

Summit Racing has the Spectre Industries 8208 kit .

You still have the old box in? fastlane02 is building a shop, try to get in touch with him on the CAI. Didn't you have a IAT, what happened to it? Just asking, not putting you down. I had a home made intake for my 90Gt that I made with plastic drain pipe and rubber pipe couplers(used with the stock box). It was fun to make. Later I got a CAI from Tranzgenic.

I put the IAT next to the brake booster pointed to the firewall which is held in place with a velco strap. Did this as explained in a post on one of the two Beretta forums or Cavalier ones. Cant remember which it was. As long as you get cold air to it, it works fine.

The airbox is no longer on the car. The pic was taking before I pulled it out.

Building the CAI using some stuff I found on ebay. The ones for the Grand AM with V6 will work. There are two of them that sell the kit, N-Take and the other is Best Car Part. Either one of those should do the trick. just need to had a 22 degree bend and some straight piece to finnish. Ill show the pics of it when I get the parts and have it installed.

Just checking on the IAT, a few times I have read posts where someone takes it off, as I'm sure you have. Back when I made the old intake I found a stang site that had all the bends and straight pipe you could want(wish I would have saved it, I did a CAI search, I know it doesn't help, but it is out there). You know, I think that I found it by looking for Vibrant silicone couplers(connecters). If you have the time look around and if you find it tell me.

Man, just put that IAT sensor in the tube where it belongs, other than that looking good! a CAI would be even better though! I've been thinking about moving my battery to the trunk and making a sealed aluminum CAI box in the front corner, something you should think about too.
Hey, I make my way down to Binghamton sometimes, you ever go to Gary's U-pull it?
I got all my Z34 stuff from there!

Whoa... I is a little late with reply...

this is where the IAT sits... right where I said it was. ( Strut Bar has been removed for better view )

I driven over 1,000 miles with it like this. Has ZERO issues with performance or fuel milage. Check engine light has never come on... BUT it may have an issue with Emission Inspection. Which doesnt matter to me... I still have the stock stuff to put back on.

I can help you make that a cold air setup.
I have the piping, couplers clamps and more in stock right now.

This is what it would end up looking like...
