Hey, I finally got a quad!

Yep. No joke!

1997 Plymouth Voyager with a 2.4 DOHC! LMAO

One thing is certain, it gets really good MPG for a van! :P Around 23-26MPG. :D

Hey, it was 300 bucks, it runs, and is butt ass ugly. Not to mention about as basic as it gets. No frills, only power locks, etc. And its the short version. But it runs and will get me through the winter.

Awesome deal. I personally like the 3L motors, but the 2.4 is easy to work on in that bay.

When you upgrade, throw a turbo in the van, do some tuning and watch it run 13's and lower!

That's no joke. Gobs of room around this engine. Pretty surprising pull for a 4 banger though. But I have been babying it. 170k on the clock.

ROFLMA

That won't be happening. If I turned 13's with this thing, I would leave rust trails.

How so? It IS a quad with DOHC. So what if its a Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth version? lol Oh, and if I'm not mistaken, don't these use a belt instead of a chain for the timing? :(

Oh, and that's why I posted it in the off topic.. ;)

Oh wait. You thought I meant a quad beretta? Silly rabbit. LOL

They aren't called quads silly. 2.3 DOHC GM engines are the only true Quad 4! You're saying every DOHC 4 banger should be called a quad 4?... If that's the case then a 75 Cosworth Vega has a quad 4 too... Wait, Nooooooooo... It IS not a quad... Don't taint the namesake of a great GM engine with your Mopar Soccer Mom Bullshit! Thanks! ;) lol

You're welcome. I had to think about that reply for hours...... :P

One of these days, I will have to put some pics up of this thing... Scary. Even has the old man white walls on the outside. *shudder
