I'll take your stock wheels/tires if you don't want them.. I'd be curious to see if I get a mpg increase with the low rolling resistance tires that the Eco has (plus the ubber light wheels).

That kinda sucks that you need to tune it to use the cold air intake. I was looking at using that for my senior project (see if there is mpg/hp increase when going from stock to k&n to cold air with no other modifications). Oh well.

This is kinda true for any car that has a MAF setup since your changing the characteristics of the intake so you need to properly re-scale the maf to recognize those changes. And its another reason why many say to do mods in steps and tune for each one as you go so your only working on one table at a time and can make sure you get them right.

and you went from AWD to FWD shoe box... What did you expect for snow handling... lol

I expected the snow handling to be similar to the Beretta, but it's not. Overall car weight is about the same as my Z26, but drivetrain weight right over the tires I'm sure is less.

Plan is to throw Blizzaks on the Eco wheels for winter and use the Eco tires on new RS wheels.

K&N claims 6.4hp & 9.4lbft at the wheels with their intake kit. Plus.....PSH!

My friend has that exact car, but in baby blue. He has a full intake, full exhaust and a chip/tune. It's friggin' quick.

I can keep the intake and swap it back & forth for oil changes at the dealer, but I'll keep the stock stainless exhaust on it. That way they shouldn't be suspicious.

K&N is on the way. Same goes for a set of Blizzaks for the winter.

Blacked out the chrome with PlastiDip this weekend. Going to try out the silver metallizer dip on the wheels when the snows get mounted. Hoping I can get it about body color without looking gay. If that fails, flat black always works.

Wow looks a lot better without the chrome :) Always liked the Cruze. Test drove a turbo 6spd one but it was a dark blue. If I got a newer daily driver it would probably be one of those since I don't see me getting my hands on a G8 GXP lol

I've seen that on other cars and it's not horrible. But to me any chrome is too much. I'm kinda wishing we went with silver...the flat black looks really sharp on silver.

Tiffany likes these Drag DR-34 wheels. Probably pick them up for the summer rather than the stockers I posted earlier. Jon, aren't/weren't you running Drag brand wheels on Pinky?

Also found an OEM GM fog light kit that gives you the harness, headlight switch and fogs & trim pieces for $175. It's a $350 option on the car, so I'm betting they all come without and the dealer has to install them.

It may have been a bad idea to get Tiffany a car that I like. haha

Nice. Looks really good! I think they look much better with blacked out or color matching badges.

They come installed when ordered that way. If not ordered but later want it, dealer installs it. I haven't done a set but it should just be a plug n play deal. The illuminated door sills are pretty cool too.

So if the factory installs them from the start, why do they rape you on the option price? haha I saw the how-to on cruzetalk. It looks pretty simple.

I need to stop looking at crap for this car. It's costing me a few extra car payments already!

Probably so people don't bitch when they have to pay more to have it installed at the dealer verse buying it factory installed :P. Wish there were more options I could think of that you have to install.. More cowbell?

It depends on how the car is purchased too... Both require some extra installation if it be on the line or at the dealer, so if you order the car outright then they charge you the same as if you want to add the option to a car on the lot, I don't see why any one would be cheaper.

And yes I have Drag DR-17's... Bought them age's ago for the red car and Pinky is still rocking them.
