nice looking good there.
one question is the opening in the front between the tires an air intake or is it just so the air get's forced over the radiator.

The center hole is simply for cooling, the cutouts around the frame there are for the bumper mounts and then the air intake, well there isn't any since the carb and air cleaner will be going through the hook about 1ft higher than it... lol Same as he original pics of the full body on the car. We need to find where the hole has to be and cut it out.

Finished up most of the ignition and wiring last night did not have time to take pics... We actually had 5 guys in the shop at once, talk about crazy!
I just need to finish wiring the alternator and fan and then I'm moving on to the oil system on thursday if the rest of my fittings show up.
He wants to fire this think off this weekend... Oie...
Way more body pannels fitted though, roof on A pillars, B pillars, doors rear quarters rear inside decking... and the hood is fitted for the carb and two hood pins.

I didn't get any photos but here are some his wife took while we were working.
We were attempting to get it running that night...
Quick check with the pressure checker and found some major leaks on the intake... Kinda worries us since the Engine Builder is the one who put it together... At least its a "rented" engine so if it fails due to something he did it's not on our dime. We just have to keep up maintenance on it.
And after two days of repair work to the intake gaskets, we had to wait an extra day for the the sealant to set up since with a dry sump you could actually suck that in.
Check the Blog for a listen.

Re: The Roundy Round car... New MRS Division this year.
Final product...
Didn't qualify for the race due to a bad qualifying pick and a bump into the marbles on the first lap followed by a blocker during the qualifying race... Next race is in Madnock.
I hope the driver has some more seat time by then so he's a bit more comfortable with the car and knows what it can do... I think if he had a better idea this weekend he might have tried something a bit more ballsy to get the 1 position he needed.
Now maybe I'll have time to work on my Beretta... HAHA

Its like a hr long process before you can start it... Warm the oil then prime it and it takes a while to warm 2gal of oil.

Re: The Roundy Round car... New MRS Division this year.
I haven't checked yet (power support wise), but he has an inverter under the bench in the trailer, so there is the possibility to turn that on to power the trailer and run the oil heater on the ride to the track, the trailer battery is charged by the truck, so it would just be a question on if that load on the trailer battery would overwhelm the charge wiring that goes to the trailer plug and make it overheat, if not then the whole time the car is in the trailer it would be getting warmed.
I'll try to get a vid of it running but the best one I have now is on the blog.

It's alive again this year! Muahahahahaha
And yes the audio quality isn't that good but it's a phone and it's so damn loud the whole garage vibrates so I doubt many camera's would sound much better LOL
http://s257.beta.photobucket.com/user/3 ... 8.mp4.html
New revisions to the motor this year, making over 620HP also got a new BLP carb for $500 MORE after trading in the old carb that was $900.
I just finished getting all the motor work done last night and got it all up and running. Found a leaking fuel line so gotta adress that with a new fitting and now the other guys just need to finish up hanging the rest of the panels and I have the rear panhard bracket at home to tig up since we added a quick adjuster to it. Hopefully thing's go a bit smoother this year than they did last year, but we'll see.

Eh, don't have a good feeling this year so far... This weekend he got hit in the consi race and sent into the wall preventing us from qualifying... Not fun.
