Beretta rescue! Beretta rescue!

Post by Rettax3 »

So, this is a sad case. It wouldn't be so bad if the interior accents either hadn't been painted, or had been painted better (you can see it is rubbed-off of the window-crank), and that spoiler... Too bad it survived the rear-ending.

Other than that and the old-man white-walls (I'm betting the previous owner had expensive too-big-to-fit-right wheels with rubber-bands for tires and wanted to keep them, and stole these wheels from his grand-father's car), it isn't too bad. It isn't worth $800 either, with the rear-end damage and the high miles, but from what I can tell (which isn't much) the dash might be straight, and if the car is rust-free, it might be worth fixing too. The front seats and console-lid are trashed too... I'm not necessarily fond of the body-kit it has, but if it is on and painted decently it isn't bad either. The grill is interesting, looks like a Plymouth Duster's?

What Rescue!!

I paid $500 for the '94 Rodney turned into his 3500 turbo intercooled car.

California original 3100 Z26 that STILL has original OEM paint and not a hint or rust.

Even the decals.

And I drove it back to Canada from California without a miss.

The Bad? It had a cracked windshield, LOL!

That car is not worth that much!

Just my .02

...As I said too. I see a lot of your .02 being spent lately though, I could buy another car for all that!
edit: I paid under $400 for my rust-free and unmolested GTU, and drove it home. The bad on that car? The engine stalled quite a bit while stopping once warmed (I didn't care -I bought the car specifically to drop a 3800 SC into), and the otherwise really clean interior was blemished by a seriously cracked dash. Kumho tires were almost brand new, and worth more than the purchase price of the car -too bad they got stolen with the really nice GTU rims they were on  . But, not every Beretta find out there will be that great of a deal, you know?

I learned too late!

They should pay someone to take that thing off their hands. The whole interior needs to be reversed haha that nasty wing gotten rid of and the rear end fixed! That body kit is gross as hell too haha
