That would be an ultimate block for the enthusiast building an Indy...

That link isn't working for me for some reason, I've tried a couple of different times. I'm not a member over there though, is that why I can't see it? Pics here would be nice...

if you're not a member there, you won't see it... i didn't bother logging in, as i'm not sure if i'm a member or not, but just from reading quick it's an aluminum block that is 47 lbs lighter than the iron rwd block (so what about the fwd blocks?), unless you already need a new block, i can think of easier ways to loss 50 lbs...

I can't seem to get anything from their site to come up right now, I used to read some of the forum threads and use their CR calculator... All I get now is Server Not Found errors... As for the aluminum block, I gathered the same thing -that it is one of the Bow Tie Performance aluminum 3.4 blocks, as used in the Pace Cars, but I am kind of guessing on that. IIRC they made a Performance 2.8 aluminum block too. It would be worth more than just the weight savings, IMO, as aluminum blocks also offer better cooling and more even heat distribution, as well as having the same thermal coefficient of expansion as the aluminum heads... I would just like to see some pics, details on this particular engine, and what they think it is worth... :pardon:

I have saved the photos if you really want to see them. The asking price is $2,500, so I'm not sure if anyone here cares.
