Sweet! Looks better than the s-10 frame swap. The yellow one.

this car has been for sale for a long time. Another member was interested in buying it but i've heard it's pretty rough.

This car was already explored and IIRC photos were posted on this site of the work on the rear and due to how it was put together he opted not to buy it... so before going in head over heals I think you should get some more photos on the work done. The rear you can already see is too wide and he didn't get proper offset rims to fit it, so god knows what else is done on the inside to keep the rear at that height and not bottom out on the rear quarters.

Sounds like a good price. He wanted $9,500 when it first listed. That thing has got to be quick. Better to have a quick car that's a headache than what I have now.

Huh? That comment makes no sense, they are stock Beretta parts... lol

I recall the member that went to look at it not having any interest in buying it due to the previous asking price of almost 10k and that it needed a little work, and I remember nothing being said that it was built poorly... The rear end is not too wide and the rears don't stick out much more then they do on a stock fwd Beretta. The rims are staggered and the offset looks fine to me. I know you said IIRC, but you didn't recall correctly this time.

Alright here's some pics of a Beretta that i was looking at purchasing over the winter. this is the information I've gathered upon it. its a 86 grand national/turbo regal motor. 200r4 trans. 8.5'' 10 bolt rear. it uses a section of the firewall and floor/drive shaft tunnel cut out of a turbo regal and fitted for a Beretta to keep it uni-body. it also utilized the stock front suspension and firewall mounted rack. I don't have pics of the bracing, but as the guy described it as having a boxed sub-frame style connectors under the body to strengthen it up a bit. the gas tank is out of a Honda Civic for room. the trunk pan for the spare tire was cut and welded flat to mount the gas tank. its 100 percent uni-body and is hard to tell from the outside that any of this was done.
NastyEllEssWon wrote: I passed on the car, amazing enough as it is, it has some rust on the rocker area and just wasn't in the market on spending almost 10 grand for a car that's going to need some sheet metal. the rust isnt very much, but enough to deter me from it.

Going off of this photo

The rims do NOT look tucked like a standard FWD Beretta. I stand corrected on the other photos posted, I would not have made that statement if I had found that post.
