Video/sound byte

Post by zach82 »

This summer I finally did get around to a making a sound/video clip of what my 3100 sounds like with the 2.25" catless side exit straightpipe.  Just posting a link to the clip for any people who are interested in what it would sound like. ÂÂÂ

I hadn't hosted this little byte before because I didn't have enough storage to keep it but I upgraded my package so it's not an issue now.

My recommendation is NOT to do it if you live anywhere that they're anal over exhaust because it is quite loud as anyone who has heard it will tell you. ÂÂÂ

Video clip here (.MOV format 3.8mb)
Right click and save it or you're gonna get gobbledegook.

Hmm. I fired mine up with the muffler off once and it wasnt too loud, but didn't drive it to hear it. I liked the sound. Had more rumble & pops than my ultraflo did.

Of course your's has no cat, and is side exit!! lol

Yeah, I had an UltraFlo once upon a time but I took it off cause it wasn't loud enough for me ÂÂÂ

The side exit is great for loudness, but I recommend going out the passenger side. After you drive it down the highway a while with it out the driver's side you will get a headache every single time.
