C6 tips

Postby JeffD » Thu Jul 17, 2008 9:36 pm

I just got my C6 corvette tips in from California, I'm trying to decide how to place them, close together like a corvette, or original beretta placement, only with the exhaust on the right side as well.
give me your thoughts.

thanks for all your help lol!
I did the exhaust this weekend, dual exhaust. the inside of the pipes is right on the edge of the licence plate. it sounds awesome, I ended up making a complete 2-1/4" exhaust from the exhaust manifold back with a glasspack in place of the cat along with the  flowmaster in the muffler location. so much better than the turbo muffler! :hammer

IMHO they are either too close together to be believable as an OEM application, OR too far apart to be custom.

I'm a detail NUT and I wouldn't be happy with that.

And if you are going to spend all that, or any money, why on earth settle for 2 1/4" pipes?

But it's your car.

I had the pipe, it's larger than stock, I've seen the tips side by side before and didn't like it, all in all I spent around $100 on the entire thing. My thing is subtle appearance mods, not  really drawing too much attention.
I've gotten nothing but complements until now.  :D

How many people have center under license plate exhaust exits on a beretta?  IIRC It's me and Mr. Mike right now... Others?

there is a guy nearby me who did it, I don't know if he's on here, but I didn't really like the way he did it.
