I know that it seems like I am on the wrong forum but I'm not. I want your opinion. I have a 2004 Saurn Ion Redline. In case you dont know, 2.0 Ecotech, all aluminum supercharged motor. I want to know what exhaust you suggest. When I had my GTZ I had a magnaflo muffler on it and it sounded amazing. I tried the same with my Ion and it sounds like crap. I want a low deep rumble without being really loud and I hate the sound of rasp. As a side note, I cannot gain any power by changing my exhaust. For once GM designed something to its full potential. LOL

Thanks for the help to get the deep rumble back into my car.

Does it have a header on it? A header will always make it sound good along with a good muffler.

What size exhaust did those come stock with?

Getting a tune would definitely make full use of any modification you make.

I recommend a Dynomax super turbo or a chambered muffler, like a flowmaster 50 or something like that. If you want balls out sound...go with the Super44.

Flowmaster aren't the best muffler out there, but they are much better than any stock flow muffler and they sound pretty good too on the right engine.

This is why I use the "view active/view new" links at the top of the forum. Makes life SO much easier.
