No i pulled 39mpg. It wasnt a miscalculation or anything special, its just good port work on the head, free flowing exhaust and a being gentle on it to Phx and back. I have the receipt somewhere i'll have to dig it out. Closest i got after that was 37.7. I wouldnt make this up, but then again, i did that on my old 3.61 trans. I havent tried it on the 3.94 yet. But to beretta fest and back, i did hit 36mpg a couple time, and that was with a loaded car, dont believe me on that one, ask Chad and Ryan.

I did forget that you still have the 3.61 FDR trans, and that is a great OD gear for MPG. I've just never heard of a Quad getting mileage that good.

I have 2.5in mandrel bent exhaust all the way from a stock 92 exhaust manifold... I have a magnaflo high flow cat, then a straight through thrush glasspack then back to a magnaflow muffler. It's smooth with no raspiness at all. The best part is its still quiet on the inside and has a badass tone on the outside. Not terribly loud at all. I need to get a video of it.

Installed a simple Thrush flow thru glass pack in place of the cat. Raspies are gone and the car is much quieter. Not quite as quiet as OE, but close. It has a bit of a throaty sound at 3/4+ throttle, not bad for a Quad. Total bill $40. Total time 1Hr. Not bad at all.

Loud the Q4 is indeed. i recently made a Y-pipe for my gtz and installed two thrush welded mufflers. SUPER LOUD - Love it. although it doesnt sound anything like my cutlass or my camaro i still love it. my car originally had basically the entire length of the center pipe before the bends to go around the tank resonator - i installed at that time a thrush super turbo and was way to quite removed the resonator was louder but that muffler omitted some very un appealing sounds lol so after wards i tried two of the thrush welded mufflers super loud definitely wake up the neighbors lol. i used the car for deliveries (pizza) and worked until 3am so im sure many people heard me racing down all the side streets LOVE IT. But sadly that GTZ finally packed it in @ 300,000kms and gas mileage wise at it was at 29mpg on the hwy. So i picked up a another GTZ from "Nascar43" - Just so everyone knows he is my HERO this car is in excellent shape and has easily helped me get over the passing of my Wie Beastie.
