Cat Question

Postby indygurl » Wed Mar 14, 2012 1:00 pm

i am wondering what the stock cat diameter and length is on my indy. My indy does not have one and i am just going to do a cheap quick fix til i can get the money to redo the entire exhaust.

An exhaust shop should be able to look up the size needed on your car. My high flow Magnaflow cat is smaller than the stock one. They flow so much better than the stock one and don't need to be the same size as stock. The shop can weld in pipe as needed.

The piping should be 1 7/8" and the cat itself should be IIRC 14" in length.
