1989 Beretta GT with stock aluminum wheels

215/65R15 vs 205/60R15 (stock)

Rear tires only? Any thoughts? Diameter Difference: 5.08%

I went ahead and bought a pair of 215/65R15 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 Tires for rear tires. 1989 Beretta is still up on blocks, but they seem to fit OK. A pinch wide, being 215, but I don't think they will rub.

Still working on font end, ball joint, and will be inserting new mains/rod bearings in it before I drive it again.

Thrust bearing was way out of spec, some 1.1 mm instead of 0.05 mm. Transmission side was pushing in on thrust bearing at some point in time.

they won't rub. others are running 225 width no problem. i was running a combination of 205/50r16 on the front and 225/55r16 out back. gave me a nice raked stance! but aided in killing the bra on my front bumper up a driveway...

I had 225/50(or 55, not sure) 17's on the rear of my Beretta temporarly and it did not rub at all, you'll be fine. I'm running 215/50/17s now and they don't rub either.

BUY MY BRA DAMMIT! I ran 215/60's on 14's, so I would have gone with 215/55's on a 15. I'm looking at going with 215/50's on the 16's on both Z's. This size seems to have very limited options.
