Apparently due to GM's unoriginality, I guess the GTU wheel was offered on cavaliers in the 90s, in a 15.

I'm probably the last one in the world to find out about this, but I got little rustled when a cavi I was looking at had tiny gtu style rims with a bowtie center cap. Why do they get cool center caps? Why do they even get the style at all? They didn't get Z wheels...I mean if your gonna go into the parts bin for "inspiration"...

Perhaps I will put 15s on the front to give it that "no really its a rear wheel drive" look.

They are also only 6" wide

I've seen them on lots of different Cavy's but I typically see them on the Z24's.

So they get Baby-Z wheels, like the Baby-Z that they are.

they are gtu wheels... not Z lol

Minivans got the 15" baby Z26 wheels...

I've seen those wheels on too many damn vehicles, It's hard to discern where they originally came from LOL

Also, what's wrong with having a lot of interchangeable parts?

One reason why I really got into Honda's was due to their interchangeability with almost all of their entire product line. I know of guys running NSX brakes on hatchback civics with just a few part swaps. Just like our beloved GM products.

It sucks when you got a car that is composed of nothing but model specific parts and watch your wallet run dry when you need to replace anything.

Nothing. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm referring to the GTU wheel design, manufactured in a whole different specification for a cavalier.

The GTU rims also look way better because they have a deeper dished offset.
